Digital Marketing Strategist


Summary: The Digital Marketing Strategist provides guidance and advisement through digital marketing transformation. As a liaison within the department, thiscandidate should have a strong knowledge in digital marketing that includes anability to distribute content through all of our digital channels including, but not limited to: social, email, SMS text messaging, and web. This role requires a highlevel of organization, project management skills, and holistic thinking.


Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert on our mission, brands, and audiences to help spread the gospel.
  • Take an asset through to completion by distributing on all relevant platformsincluding social media networks, web pages, YouTube, in-service promotionalvehicles, SMS text messaging, email campaigns, OTT, on-demand solutions, etc.
  • Keep up-to-date, utilize the latest, and brand relevant features of Facebook,Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat and other social media networks.
  • Update web content regularly including calendar of events.
  • Attend Sunday and/or Wednesday services for identifying key sermon messages, developing content-focused assets, and distributing assets through digital channels.
  • Work to provide analytics and a complete understanding of the effectiveness ofdigital campaigns.
  • Administer of digital marketing tool, building emails, creating email marketing content, generating templates/layouts and SMS promotions.
  • Develop email marketing strategies with the goal of increasing engagement and open rates.
  • Develop and update email reporting that tracks KPls and business metrics on a regular basis to uncover actionable trends, insights and forecasts.
  • Hands-on experience with online marketing tools and practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with our audience's preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns.
  • Work with Digital Marketing Manager to create problem-solving digital ad campaigns month over month while creating integrated and cost effect digital marketing efforts.
  • Assist Digital Copywriter in blog and long-form content creation.
  • Research products, services and current strategies.
  • Deliver regular reports that analyze performance across digital channels.
  • Work with content producers and graphic designers to create collaterals.
  • Assist with finding creative solutions to garner engagement on social media platforms.
  • Curate, develop, schedule and manage content for use across social media platforms that support corporate goals and objectives.
  • Monitor, listen, and engage with end-users to foster a sense of community online and brand loyalty.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Social Media trends, applications and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to maintain brand consistency and harmonization.
  • Stay up-to-date on partners digital marketing efforts and industry news/trends.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Data Analysis, Email Marketing orother related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in Digital Marketing.
  • Email marketing experience is required, GetResponse experience preferred.
  • Maintains  360-Thinking.
  • Execute the distribution of assets like a well-oiled machine.
  • Proven work experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist, Email Marketing Specialistand/or Digital Marketing Strategist
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, YouTubeAnalytics, Instagram Insights and more.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and general email deign.
  • Superior writing/grammar skills.
  • Motivated self-starter that's deadline driven and task-oriented.
  • Faith-based knowledge extremely useful in this role.
